Fabulously Fermented

VERY brief impressions on beers I've been lucky enough to encounter

Deviant Dale’s

IPA
(Oskar Blues, Lyons CO)

Very Good

A revved up version of Dale’s Pale Ale, an imperial pale ale I suppose. Pours a nice hazy golden glass with great head retention. Has an herbal/citrus aroma. Tastes like mango and other stone fruits. It’s quite well-balanced. 8% abv. 85 IBU’s. This is a 16 oz.-er and just one of these will do ya.

From the brewer:

"This beer is intended to be a sensory assault for hop lovers. At 8.0% ABV, four hop additions during the brew process, and a final wallop of excessive Columbus dry-hopping, this beer is meant to say one thing: MORE HOPS! Perfect for these cool winter nights, The Deviant is a returning favorite from the little brewery in Lyons, Colorado that started the Canned Revolution!"
